Invited Speakers:

Members may be invited to speak at the annual meeting, through symposia, panels, or otherwise. All members are eligible to be speakers. Individual talks and symposia are scheduled throughout the entirety of the Pavlovian Society Annual Meeting program.

The Executive Committee may choose individual speakers at its sole discretion. Symposia are selected through a rigorous review process. A call for symposia is sent to all members via email in the fall before the next annual meeting. Submitting a proposal in no way guarantees acceptance of the symposium. The Executive Committee will prioritize symposia that will create a diverse program of interest to a large number of people as well as highlight speakers who have not recently presented at our annual meeting (2 years or more).

Upon selection, speakers have 14 days from notice to confirm their attendance. The selection committee reserves the right to replace individual speakers or whole symposia if speakers are unconfirmed by the given date or if they do not comply with Pavlovian Society policies (see Compliance with Policies section in the Terms of Service).

The banquet guest speaker is chosen by the current President and reviewed by the Executive Committee. This speaker presents on the final evening of the Annual Meeting during the banquet dinner.
