Talk Abstracts
Since this year's meeting will be held in Sydney, Australia, we are inviting individual talk submissions, rather than symposia proposals.
Half of our individual speakers have already been determined (see below flyer); the remaining slots will be filled from this call.
Please apply here by JANUARY 31, 2025. 5 pm Pacific. to submit an abstract for an individual talk.
The Executive Committee will prioritize talks that will create a diverse program of interest as well as highlight speakers who have not recently presented at our annual meeting. Selected speakers for individual talks will be notified by late February 2025 with a formal invitation to present.
NOTE: We will have an additional call for posters below starting February 2025, from which we will also choose a number of Early Career Researchers (ECRs) to participate in a Data Blitz.
Information for poster presenters: In order to fit our poster boards, posters may be up to 48” tall and 72’’ wide. Pushpins will be available to hang your posters before your session.
The 2025 schedule will be posted here as the meeting approaches. In the meantime, check out our budding line up of speakers already confirmed for the meeting.
Printed programs will not be available at the meeting.
Hotel Information
Our 2025 meeting will be held between Thursday, August 7 through Saturday, August 10, 2025 in Sydney, Australia at the W hotel in Darling Harbour: Luxury Sydney Hotel | W Sydney. The W hotel is walking distance to main attractions including the harbour, botanical gardens, and museums. We have secured longer room blocks for those who wish to stay beyond the conference.

If you cannot attend the 2025 meeting, members are encouraged to pay dues of $25 to support the Society and keep an active membership.
